Synopsis... 
a wet and organized weather system will arrive today, spreading 
rain across the region and a slight chance for thunderstorms. 
Cooler and unsettled conditions will remain through much of this 
week with a chance of showers over most of the area each day 
through the work week.

Discussion...looks like the nudge to mention elevated 
thunderstorms in the forecast was the right one. Have issued a 
zone update based on the widespread shower and thunderstorm 
activity currently visible on the radar this morning ahead 
a cold front which will pass through later today and continue to 
keep the weather unsettled. /Pelatti

Aviation... 
12z tafs: slow passage of wet weather systems keeps wet 
and unsettled weather including thunderstorms in the forecast 
at times bringing ceilings and visibilities down to MVFR at 
times. Near 8z Tuesday the back edge of the cold front 
should be clear of the aviation area and precipitation should 
be less of an issue but wind may continue to be gusty.
