Forecast generally unchanged otherwise. && Previous discussion... /issued 551 am CDT Wednesday may 23 2012/ Update... 12z taf discussion. Aviation... Patchy fog at ckv/csv this morning will improve to VFR by 14z. VFR conditions then expected at all airports during the day today with light south winds. Isolated showers will develop once again near csv by afternoon and will mention vcsh. Patchy fog to redevelop tonight at csv with MVFR/IFR visible anticipated anew. Previous discussion... /issued 157 am CDT Wednesday may 23 2012/ Discussion...surface map at 06z shows weak high pressure situated across middle Tennessee, with weak pressure gradient and light winds across the middle state. Upper trough remains situated just to our east, with deeper moisture remaining along the Cumberland Plateau. As a result, scattered convection is once again expected in areas to the east of Nashville. Moisture will finally exit the region by Thursday, leaving middle Tennessee under high pressure at the surface and aloft. This means dry weather will likely persist until Memorial Day, with temperatures soaring well into the 90's by the weekend.
