... Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 11 PM MST this
evening...

A Winter Weather Advisory for snow in the west-central Idaho mountains
remains in effect until 11 PM MST this evening.

* Snow amounts... 2 to 4 inches in the valleys. Up to one foot
through midnight across higher peaks with additional
accumulations after midnight.

* Snow levels... 4500 feet msl... rising to 7000 feet by midnight.

* Timing... through this evening before changing to rain.

* Impacts... snow-covered roads making driving difficult... especially
along Highway 55 north of Smiths Ferry and Warm Lake Road.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means that periods of snow
will primarily cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for snow
covered roads and limited visibilities... and use caution while
driving.
