An air stagnation advisory remains in effect until 10 am PST

* Synopsis: high pressure will continue over the region through at
least Thursday morning continuing low level inversions and
generally stagnant air. The high will weaken some Tuesday and
Wednesday resulting in some improvement in vertical mixing...
but not enough to completely mix out the stagnant air in the
west side valleys. The inversion is expected to strengthen some
again this weekend before dissipating early next week.

* Locations include: Grants Pass... Cave Junction... Medford...
Ashland... drain... Elkton... Roseburg... Sutherlin... green...
Myrtle Creek... Canyonville... Glendale.

* Impacts: air quality could deteriorate if significant pollution
particulates accumulate. These particulates could make breathing
more difficult for those with respiratory ailments.
