... Winter Weather Advisory in effect until 4 am PST Wednesday...

The National Weather Service in Spokane has issued a Winter
Weather Advisory for snow... which is in effect until 4 am PST
Wednesday.

* Locations... Republic... Wauconda... Chesaw Road... Boulder Creek
Road.

* Snow level... main accumulations above 2500 feet... mix down to
valley floors.

* Snow accumulations... 1 to 3 inches... local amounts near 5 inches
above 3500 feet near the Canadian border.

* Timing... snow will continue through Tuesday night... with the
most significant accumulations before 2 am.

* Impacts... travel across this region will be treacherous
through early morning.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means that periods of snow
will cause primarily travel difficulties. Be prepared for snow
